Sometimes a bar, sometimes a library, always a haven. Located in Ul’dah, The Tenth Moon caters to those searching for arcane knowledge, fellowship, or just a drink.

There’s two seemingly identical books on the shelf, but when you open them up, one is just a trashy romance novel with the cover ripped off.

One of the books bites. It often changes its preferred sleeping spot.

There is a small, worn wooden box with an arcane lock on it that no one’s been able to undo yet. No one is sure what’s inside, but the rumors range from the mundane to the ridiculous.

The silver scales that sit on the mantle above the fire have started to shift, though nothing has been placed upon them.

Short on gil? Rumor is the staff will give free drinks to those whose poetry skills are up to snuff.

The Tenth Moon is born out love for cocktails and the glow of a small gathering of friends.The back and forth of a bartender getting orders can be tedious and can leave some players left out in large crowds. Please feel free to use an assumed NPC, or simply handwave the roleplay if that is something you’re comfortable with.This is an LGBTQ+ friendly space. An ode to a friend and his lute, wherever he may be.

Honey Yard Mead with a spiced rum floater, garnished with dark syrupy cherries pierced with a tiny wooden cocktail sword. Please be careful when instigating bar fights with such weaponry.

Other Offerings

Though mainly a cocktail bar, The Tenth Moon also provides wines, ales, aged liquors and a variety of teas. Non-alcoholic versions of cocktails are also available. Here are a few notable offerings, though requests can always be made.

Galago Mint Tea

Green tea with mint and simple syrup - served in a silver tea pot with several glasses for sharing.

Shrubs

Non-alcoholic carbonated beverages with vinagered syrups. Choose from - rolanberry, peach, or cherry.

Small Plates

Spiced Fried Chickpeas - crunchy, salty, spicy.

Olives - marinated in preserved lemon, rosemary and olive oil.

Sour Lemon Candies - the owner likes them, okay?
